Our 2021 Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful representation of an old-vine Sauvignon Blanc from Rutherford, where the “dust” isn’t just for reds. The wine has a bright acidity with layered stone fruit, particularly peach, and lemon tart with a subtle vanilla influence from the barrels. This is the first vintage of Sauvignon Blanc that we put through secondary fermentation.Vineyard Notes
Melrose Vineyard is located on the Napa Valley floor in Rutherford off of the south side of Zinfandel Lane. There are 82 acres of vines consisting of rare old vine Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec and Petit Verdot. It was acquired by Andy Beckstoffer in 1973.| Vintage | 2021 |
